DAY thirteen calls for a little poetry.
I’m trying to work more on shorter pieces right now instead of longer prose because I tend to obsess over longer stanzas and the sounds and the rhymes, which is great of course, but it can come across as a little too forced at times.
So shorter poetry can be both less stressful and also more of a challenge because there is less time to get a point across.
Not all of my poetry is personal, I like to try and think about people in general and how life would affect them. Unfortunately this means a lot of my poetry comes out a little depressing like this boi here.
But I like to think there’s something for everyone to relate to. We’ve all had our ups and downs after all.
