February Book Club

The month of love (love is in the air, do do dooo).

So I guess it’s appropriate that the theme this month for my book club challenge is Love.

I managed to read five books last month – one of which was in last month’s book club. So a great start to the challenge, not so great start for the Book Club.

But hey ho, it’s a new month, and it’s time for…SEXUAL HEALING.

Well no, not really. But it is time for sharing some love.

So this month, my first book is Paper Towns.

I read The Fault in Our Stars years ago, and cried my whole way through it. And last month I finally (FINALLY) got round to reading Every Day and Will Grayson, Will Grayson.

Surely, after all these amazing (and semi-amazing) books, Paper Towns won’t disappoint.

And then there’s always the movie to enjoy right?

Up next is Something Wonderful by Giovanna Fletcher.

I am so excited about this book (it was a Christmas present).

It’s all about a woman whose life goes topsy-turvy after her long-term boyfriend ditches her on a romantic holiday. It looks like my perfect kind of cheesy – and as it’s the month of love, I figured what the hell.

Finally, is my little bargain of a steal from last month, A Pocketful of Crows.

My love affair with her fantastic work continues with this fairy tale of love, loss and revenge.

It might be the month of love, but they say there’s a thin line between love and hate.

My bonus book is An Abundance of Katherines – I’m going to end up obsessed with John Green, I can just see it now.

How’s your reading challenge going so far?
